Morongo Valley Residents: UPDATE FOR FIRE EVACUATION WARNING
Morongo Valley residents, the evacuation warning has been lifted for all of Morongo Valley starting @ 12 pm today, 8/10/2020.
All residents are encouraged to still keep a vigilant eye on their property and complete their safe clearances and brush/grass removal. A 100’ clearing around your houses, out buildings and property is the best practice for fire safety.
All animals, property preparation, and other plans may now be stopped or returned to your normal activity.
The fire activity is still on going in the fire area, but currently does not pose threat to Morongo Valley.
Thank you for all the support for and too the fire fighters and the Morongo Valley fire department. We are here to provide the best professional services to our community and anyone who requires 911 services.
Thank you,
Division Chief Robert Springer
Morongo valley Fire Department.
