The Community Service District consists of a five-member board of elected local citizens. All serve as volunteers and are unpaid for representing us. A special district is a separate local form of government that delivers a limited number of public services to a geographically limited area.

I grew up in a military family, which allowed me to travel throughout the US and abroad. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to see many countries and experience a variety of cultures.  My family settled in Pennsylvania but I still needed more adventure. After finishing school in 2007 I moved to Southern California to begin working in the Dental field.  My career soon developed into office management which led me to working in a position outside of healthcare. After 5 years as an Executive Assistant for a non-profit based out of Colorado, I started working for my husband's business.  My husband and I were married in 2014 while living in Palm Springs. Together we had been searching for a place to settle and call home. We found a little town nestled in the high desert, Morongo Valley. I fell in love with the beautiful landscapes and the moderate weather. I knew this was going to be the place I wanted to raise my family. By 2016 we bought our first residence in Morongo Valley.  I love my neighborhood, and I am driven to make it a better place for all residents to enjoy. I intend to bring a fresh perspective to the needs of the area and take action within the community.

I am first and foremost a wife and the mom to six children, and Nana to 5 beautiful grandchildren. I am an LA native and moved to the lower desert in 1999 and then relocated to Morongo Valley in 2007 with my husband who has lived here for nearly 40 years. I have worked in the construction industry for my whole life, first managing an electrical contracting office, then working for a general contractor, and currently managing the office for my husband's custom cabinetry and furniture business.

I am a medically retired U.S. Marine. In 2006 my wife and I bought our house here and moved in with our 2 daughters. Not long after our young daughter joined the Morongo Valley Youth Sports League. The year after that I joined MVYSL as a board member and coach. My wife and I remained board members until 2013. My wife and I helped put on Morongo Valley Fiesta Days every September from 2009 till 2013 as members of the Fiesta Days committee. I am currently an active member of Morongo Valley Firefighters Auxiliary which I have been a member of since 2009. When not doing activities with the firefighters auxiliary in support of our fire department,  I also volunteer as a certified member of the Morongo Basin CERT team. During the summer months, I enjoy being an umpire for youth baseball and softball with Little League. I have been a member of the CSD Board of Directors since December 2011.

I was born and raised in Morongo Valley. Went to Morongo Valley Elementary School, Calvery Baptist Church School in Yucca Valley, and La Contenta Middle School and graduated from Yucca Valley High School. Worked for my dad in concrete and been working in plumbing for about 15 years. I volunteer in the Morongo Valley Softball League and for a couple of different racing organizations. Used to race bikes and trucks in California, Nevada, and Mexico. Now I just camp and do some off-road stuff. My kids go to Morongo Valley Elementary School now.
