The CSD is Morongo Valley's community service district for Parks, Street Lights and Fire Protection. This includes Morongo Valley's beautiful Community Center, Covington Park, which includes; The Morongo Valley Art Colony, The Slab (skate park), Tennis Courts, Horse Shoe Pit, and Recreational Facility. This facility is managed by the CSD and is offered free to the public or available for rental for private gatherings by the hour. This includes a full service multi-purpose room with commercial kitchen. This facility can handle groups or gatherings up to 100 people. It is located in downtown Morongo Valley, adjacent to the world famous Big Morongo Canyon Preserve. Covington Park is a charming addition to the scenic Morongo Valley community. This spot is the perfect location for your next family reunion, wedding or special event.
